ABOUT PHANTOM OF THE NORSHOR:
Colder by the Lake's comic opera premiered in April 2005, a satirical take on the
popular story of The Phantom of the Opera. The production's setting, main
character, and central focus are none other than the historic
NorShor
Theater in downtown Duluth. Using both new and strangely familiar music, a
hilarious and poignant plot, and the talents of theatre and music
professionals from all over the Twin Ports area, Colder by the Lake's
Phantom of the NorShor is guaranteed to delight audience members of all
ages. Phantom of the NorShor will be a smoke-free event.

Phantom of the NorShor
was written by Margi Preus and Jean Sramek, with musical arrangements and
original music composed by Tyler Kaiser, and is directed by Margi Preus.
