It has nothing to do with Tony
and Tina's Wedding, although comparisons have been made. Ole Olafsson
Jr.'s family is Norwegian and Lena Handspringinnen's family is Finnish. The
service is Lutheran. There is a buffet and yes, it should include tuna
noodle hotdish.
-
It premiered in January 2003,
played to sold-out dinner theatre crowds, was held over, and was "back by
popular demand" in October 2003. After 47 performances, it's now for rent.
Dinner and community theatres in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, and
Wisconsin have purchased the rights and will be performing Ole & Lena's
Wedding in 2004.

It's a show that's appropriate for
all ages. It's funny and fun to do.
